Boat Covers FAQ Sheet

Q: Am I able to choose different colors for my boat cover?
A:
Yes, choose from Aquamarine, Black, Burgundy, White, Cadet Grey, or Pacific Blue.

Q: How do I measure for a Boat Cover?
A:
When purchasing a boat cover, be sure you have accurate dimensions. To find the centerline length, measure from the tip of the bow to the center of the stern. Add the length of any extensions, such as bow pulpits and transom brackets to the centerline. To find the beam width, measure the widest point of your boat. Note that most boat covers will stretch to fit the beam and centerline plus or minus 4 inches.

Q: How do I measure for a Bimini Top?
A:
First determine what portion of your boat you want the top to cover. The tops come in 5', 5'6", 6' and 8' lengths.

Next, determine where you want the top mounted. Measure the width between these two points to determine the width of your top. The top comes standard with 90 degree deck hinges for mounting on flat surfaces. However, optional mounts are available for other applications.

Finally, stand inside your boat and measure the distance in height from the mounting points to the height you desire. This will help you determine how high your top needs to be.

Q: Does Geographical Location matter when choosing a boat cover?
A: Location is a very important factor when choosing a boat cover.  Be sure the boat cover material is durable enough to withstand extreme weather changes of Eastern and Midwest states.  UV protection is also important in prolonging the beauty of seats, and instruments.

Q: Are there ways to help my boat cover last longer?
A:
Oh, sure.  Avoid letting water, snow or other materials like leaves and sticks stand on the boat cover - Use support poles, straps, or bows..
